It feels very Zen to me--a completely harmonious balance of form

as I think it took a pretty interesting person to make such an interesting piece

Little Wooden Florentine Box with Portrait wooden toad glass eyes The vase's squarish form isI believe this sweet little wooden box was a Florentine souvenir, c. 1920s or so, with raised gold painted detailing and lovely portrait of a red haired woman at center. Hinged, with a red painted interior, it would be good for jewelry or other little things, and definitely makes me want to be wandering around the Uffizi when I look at it! 3 1 4" x 2" x 1 5 8" t. A couple of small dings but overall good condition, with a nice old world sort of
