This lovely matte green glazed mission style vessel would be terrific as a planter or cachepot

because I just can't resist the look of all those gracefully tapered bright white sticks standing on end in the box

relating parquetry to the Chinese tangram puzzle

7 3/4" x 6" x 5 1/2" t and in very good presumed antique condition

and they are pretty worn

Just my sort of naive and exuberant drawings, and I really really love the postures and the colors and patterning on these two, which I take for a rooster and a grouse though perhaps the latter is a partridge, or? Whatever the case, I can very much imagine the one
