There is one surface scratch to one side of the aqua cup

I just love the evocativeness of the phrase though

Painterly Old Oil on Canvas Springtime Painting woodblock prints Judas' bag of silverThis looks like the first of the flowering trees in early spring to me, which always feels like a bit of a miracle, and a most welcome one. I found this not far from me on the North Shore in Massachusetts, I would guess not too far from where is was painted. The wooden stretcher shows what looks to be a patent date of Oct 7, 1884, so I would think done not too long after that. Impressionistic and atmospheric, it's a good one for a salon style wall or
