The long arm folds down to rest inside of a groove carved into the side of the handle--though at this point it doesn't   close quite all the way in

but rarer to find an early heart and hand combined

as marking them with graphite

And what a beautiful group of specimens, as ethereal and radiant as they come, perfectly preserved. With green silk ribbons at the corners joining each card to the next. 14 1 4" l x 4" t fully open; folds up to 4" x 3 1 2". Pretty much pristine condition.
