1931 Austin Seven Swallow cyclecar Bobby Charlton in action Circa1931 Austin Seven Swallow. William Lyons, the man behind Jaguar, began manufacturing Swallow motorcycle sidecars in Blackpool in 1921. Special bodywork was being fitted to Austin chassis by May 1927, and later to others. The small, luxurious Austin Seven Swallow had feminine appeal.
