the "Broomfield" scrawled at the bottom of each sketch I believe refers to the location of the drawing--a hamlet in Wiltshire

The girl is 5" tall and the boy is 4 3/4"

Lovely Old Bone Gambling Chips, Set Three (Round) winstons very old kitchen paddle withI found a box of these old bone gambling chips and have become obsessed with them in the same way I'm obsessed with old clay marbles: I think they're just gorgeous as objects, and would be glad to have piles and piles of them! I've divided them into several groups based on shape and color; this mix of round ones are a combination of un dyed and dyed bone. Certainly these could be used for game night in various ways; I just really like laying them out
