Louis Michel, Chablis Clos Vintage:2019 I have had the 1999(also from . 50 ha parcel, half of which is young vines). A ripe and less obviously exotic nose combines notes of various white orchard fruit, especially pear, with those of rose petal, citrus zest, mineral reduction and algae. The beautifully textured yet markedly intense broad shouldered flavors possess a supple and caressing mid palate that contrasts with the powerful, muscular and serious bitter lemon, stone and saline finish. Note that at least
