Found along with the butterfly and white blooms against blue sky painting just listed

I found this one in one of my favorite shops in New Hampshire—a place that feels like a cabinet of curiosities

5 1/4" tall x 3 3/8" wide x 1 1/4" deep

but pretty great still

and go after it

(Trust me, they're great!) And for me it is very much about the two shoes as a pair, feeling like narrative full stand ins for an absent woman (who left them behind and is out wearing flats!) Sometimes carved miniature shoes like these were carved to house pin cushions, but there is no evidence here
