Aucuba japonica Mr Goldstrike Carnivorous plants our plants reached 8' tallAucuba 'Mr. Goldstrike' is one of the most beautiful of all aucubas, but one that is somewhat slow to get started. Our 6 year old plants are now 4' tall x 4' wide, although they will eventually mature at 6' tall x 5' wide. The leaves are heavily spotted gold, but appear quite bright from a distance. Aucuba 'Mr. Goldstrike' is a male cultivar that serves as a pollinator for nearby females the perfect evergreen for dry shade.
